Mission Statement

Montgomery College is a diverse institution with students, faculty, and staff from over 175 nations across the world. As a student-centered institution we are committed to providing an education that meets the needs of our diverse population. The Global Learning Initiative at Montgomery College is a multifaceted program that includes various opportunities and programs to enhance the educational process for all of our students.

As such, faculty members will be afforded a new Professional Development opportunity to enhance their ability to infuse internationalized curricula into their courses. Our new Faculty Workshop Series to Internationalize Courses will guide faculty through an intentional, strategic, and appropriate process to internationalize their courses. To that end, faculty will learn to promote a multicultural awareness for their students.

As a result, our internationalized courses will help prepare our students socially and professionally to enter the workforce with an enhanced perspective of our global society.
